ITV于日前确认新剧《追缉雷欧·莫特》（The Hunt For Raoul Moat）已经正式开机，这部聚焦2010年警方对让一人致死、两人受伤的凶手Raoul Moat展开追捕行动的剧集，将取材于真实事件以及随后的报道，将会聚焦三名受害者—— Christopher Brown、Samantha Stobbart 和政客David Rathband以及随后在追捕过程的故事。
Raoul此前就因暴力袭击自己的伴侣Stobbart而被入狱，Samantha此后一直在试图重新拥有自己的生活，并结识了Christopher。当这名可怕的前度被释放后，这次他带着旧情复燃的想法找到并劫持了自己；而受到牵连的，还有Christopher。两人的命运也危在旦夕。
但受到报章的渲染，Raoul的行径反而让他成为了“反英雄”的人物，更变成一起娱乐事件；英国球星“加扎” Paul Gascoigne也曾出现在缉捕现场，声称自己认识Raoul。最终长达一周的对峙后，才以Raoul开枪自尽告终。

Following the success of its 2023 series, the critically-acclaimed hit drama Shetland has been recommissioned by the BBC for two new series.
